Conveniently located in North Sydney and close to public transport, this position will see you reporting into a forward thinking Finance Manager and working with a team of real entrepreneurs.

In this position your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Handling routine accounting transactions such as processing accounts payable
• Monitoring financial progress of projects - tracking the project process to analyse costs and revenue to date in comparison to forecast & budget
• Preparing monthly accrual journals
• Preparing reportorial requirements for headquarter and for regional in AUD and USD
• Analysing the accounting and financial records of the company to ensure accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards and procedures
• Assisting with month end tasks

To be successful you will be degree qualified and have 3 - 4 years relevant financial accounting and project accounting experience, ideally from within IT industry. You will have a sound knowledge of accounting principles and excellent spreadsheet capabilities. Previous experience using a large ERP system such as SAP or ACCPAC will be advantageous and excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
